Mr. Tong was appointed as Chairman and Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of BOSWM MY in August 2023, and he was subsequently redesignated as Independent Non-Executive Director in March 2025. He is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Great Eastern General Insurance (Malaysia) Berhad and Great Eastern Takaful (Malaysia) Berhad.
    

Previously Mr. Tong was an Independent Non-Executive Director of OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad where he served as the Chairman of Risk Management Committee and member of the Board Audit Committee. He was also a Director of OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad. Mr. Tong built his career at Maybank over a span of more than 30 years, where he led various functional areas, including Planning, Information Systems, Central Operations and Management Information Services. He served as Senior Executive Vice President of Strategy and Transformation, for Business Banking/SME Banking from 2010 to 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Hons) Degree from the University of Malaya. He is an alumnus of the Advanced Management Program at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, USA.

Tan Ai Chin was appointed as a Non-Independent Director of BOSWM MY on 29 November 2019. She is currently the Managing Director, Senior Banker Client Coverage & Head of Investment Banking in OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad. She is in charge of client coverage for the top tier GLCs/Conglomerates and also spearheads the team that provides holistic investment banking solutions. She is also a Director of OCBC Advisers (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.
  

Prior to her current position, she was the General Manager and Head, Debt Origination at RBS Bank Malaysia (formerly ABN AMRO) and before that, the General Manager and Head of Capital Markets & Structured Finance in the investment banking arm of Maybank Group. She has accumulated almost 30 years of experience in a wide array of investment banking and corporate banking activities and has been actively involved in advising, structuring and lead arranging various landmark/high profile and award-winning transactions for many GLCs and conglomerates. She holds a Bachelor of Economics (First Class Honours) (University of Malaya).

Mohamed Rashdi was appointed as an Independent Director of BOSWM MY on 29 November 2019.

From 2006 to 2010 he was attached to PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services Sdn Bhd as the Advisor for Information Technology & Consulting Services.
 
Prior to the above, he held various positions in established companies such as IBM Malaysia Sdn Bhd, PwC Consulting Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Coopers & Lybrand Consultants Sdn Bhd, Jurudata Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of Sapura Holdings Sdn Bhd), EDS Sdn Bhd and Jabatan Telekom Malaysia, specialising in the information technology, systems integration business and technology consulting fields.

He is currently an Independent Director of Tune Protect Group Berhad and an Independent Non-Executive Chairman of Tune Insurance Malaysia Berhad (a subsidiary of Tune Protect Group Berhad). He holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Computation from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, United Kingdom.

Martin Giles Manen was appointed as an Independent Director of BOSWM MY on 29 November 2019.
He is currently a self-employed consultant providing consultancy services on corporate governance and serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Bermaz Auto Berhad. With effect from 1 July 2020, he has been appointed as the Non-Executive Chairman of Hong Leong MSIG Takaful Berhad.
  
He was attached to Perception Management Sdn Bhd from January 2008 to May 2009 as the Chief Executive Officer where he was responsible for the overall strategy, performance and business of the company, directly overseeing the financial public relations business.

He also served at Sime Darby Berhad from January 1986 to July 2007 as Group Tax Controller, Group Company Secretary, Group Finance Director, Business Development Director and Divisional Director, Allied Products & Services Division. Prior to the above, he held various positions specialising in audit, tax and business advisory services in KPMG Kuala Lumpur from February 1975 to December 1985 including a period of secondment to KPMG London from October 1980 to May 1983.

He was admitted as a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 1980 with the designation Certified Public Accountant and as a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants in 1988 with the designation Registered Accountant and subsequently as Chartered Accountant in 2001.

Lucy Chong was appointed as an Independent Director of BOSWM MY on 9 May 2022.
  
She is also an Independent Non-Executive Director of Eco World Development Group Berhad and a director of Good Shepherd Services. She started her career at Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad in 1979 in the Investment Department, gaining exposure to both operations and the fund management industry. Last position held in 1993 was Head of Investment and Treasury Department, before she moved on to be an institutional equities salesperson at various stockbroking houses from 1994-1998.

She rejoined Maybank Investment Bank in 1998 and held various positions in the Equities department prior to her last position as the Regional Co-Head of Institutional Equities and Regional Head of Corporate Access at Maybank Investment Bank from December 2017 to September 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) (First Class Honours) from Universiti Malaya.

Jacky Ang was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of BOSWM MY on 2 January 2024.

He is currently the Global Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Bank of Singapore Limited (“the Bank”).
As Global COO, Jacky supports the CEO in the strategic steering of the Bank while overseeing the execution of its key strategic initiatives. He also spearheads the Bank’s transformation efforts and has oversight of the governance and operations to support the growth of the Bank’s franchise in its key markets across ASEAN, Greater China and Middle East.
Prior to his current position, he was the Southeast Asia COO at Credit Suisse. Concurrently, he was also the Singapore Branch Manager and Head of Wealth Management.

A veteran banker with more than 26 years of experience in the wealth management industry, Jacky has worked in three leading Asian financial hubs – Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics (Banking and Finance) from the University of London. He is also a graduate of the inaugural Asian Financial Leadership Programme in 2016.

Najmuddin was appointed as Licensed Director of BOSWM MY on 1 January 2025.

Najmuddin joined BOSWM MY in December 2023. He brings over 23 years of experience in global and local asset management, holding leadership positions including CEO role. Throughout his career, he has played key roles at institutions such as Bank Negara Malaysia and other leading global and local asset management firms. As an experienced CEO, Najmuddin's experience spans investment management across various asset classes, encompassing global and domestic equities, fixed income, money markets, and structured funds. He has overseen numerous aspects of the asset management business, including investment management, sustainability, shariah and quantitative investing, product development that includes private mandate and mutual funds, digital and online investment platform, fund operations, financial management, risk management, compliance, human resources, branding and communications, and business development. Najmuddin holds a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, USA, along with certifications in Module 9 and 10 from the Securities Commission Malaysia and the Cambridge Advanced Leadership Programme from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, UK.
